Mr. Incredible is a superhero; or he used to be, until a surge of lawsuits against superheroes submitted by the people they've saved forced the government to hide them in witness protection programs so they could lead normal, anonymous lives. Now known exclusively by his secret identity, Bob Parr, he lives with his wife Helen, formerly Elastigirl, and their three children Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack. His wife has worked hard for a normal life, and the situation is ideal for him and his family, but extremely dull.

The question was: "Are there any good women in the Bible?" Of course there are many good women in the Bible. We even know the names of many of these women.
Are you curious about who the good women in the Bible are? If so, join us at Pine Grove UMC for a six week study of several of the women in the Bible. We'll be discovering how the ancient women of faith can inform our own faith.
The study will be held on Wednesday evenings starting April 13th starting at 7 PM. Classes will last about 1½ hours. For more information contact the Pine Grove UMC office (869-6281).

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent. The historic focus of this day is to remind us of the pervasiveness of human sin and of the inevitability of human death. Ashes, the traditional sign of grief and mourning, have been adopted by Christians as a sign of our own sinful mortality. Our service on Ash Wednesday will remind us of our sinful mortality and the grace God offers in forgiveness and acceptance. In keeping with the mood of the day, the service will be quiet and reflective. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is part of the service. Please join us on February 10th for worship.
